Hello guys

I am trying to import a mt940 SWIFT file using the kbanking plugin and
kmymoney version 1.0.2 which results in:

"Error importing file ...path/to/file.mt940"

How can I get more information on why the kbanking plugin is not able to
import this file?

Are there any other scripts/converters around I can use to convert e.g.
a CSV file into a QIF file? Unfortunately my bank (ZKB in Switzerland)
only provides CSV, mt940 and mt942 formats...

There is a script that can be adapted to convert CSV into QIF and then
import them.

Allan is the one who wrote them.

This might be specific to AqBanking. Another location to ask would be on
aqbanking-user-***@public.gmane.org You can post there in German if you want,
since the users are mostly speaking this language. I'll leave that up to you.
(BTW: I also read this list)

Since AqB provides MT94x importers, you should not follow the path through QIF
unless there is no other option left.
